Effect:
Digumenin is an alkaloid substance isolated from Digumen, which has significant antihypertensive effect. Digupi is the dried root bark of Lycium barbarum, a plant in the Solanaceae family. Dig the roots in early spring or after autumn, wash them, peel off the root bark, and dry it in the sun. It is used for symptoms such as hot flashes due to yin deficiency, night sweats due to bone steam, cough due to lung heat, hemoptysis, and thirst due to internal heat. Modern pharmacological research shows that it has activities such as lowering blood pressure, lowering blood sugar, regulating blood lipids, antipyretic, antibacterial and antiviral.
Chemical properties:
White crystalline powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from Digupi.
